Ministries

Greater New Life Restoration Ministries is a place of Hope and Healing; consisting of a community of believers who are committed to doing the will of the Heavenly Father.  We are compelled to fulfill the great commission, while preaching, "Repent for the Kingdom of God is at hand."  We are a non-denominational Pentecostal ministry.  Our Worship is charismatic in style with a full instrumental band, clapping and lifting of hands.  There is always the expectation of a great move of God, proven by the miraculous healing of the sick.  We believe that worship is a lifestyle and that every act we do is a form of worship.

About

Men of Valor

Mission:  We are a diverse group of men, who stand courageous in the battle for Christ.  We believe in the fivefold ministry, and we yield ourselves to being used by God.  We believe in implementing the six (6) E’s: Engaging, Educating, Empowering, Encouraging, Equipping, and Evaluating not only one another but everyone especially our brother(s) to become the best they can be always.  We understand that knowing the six E’s is one thing but living them is who/what we promised to do and be for His glory.

Hospitality Committee

The Church Hospitality Committee helps to foster a welcoming and supportive environment within a congregation. The committee is responsible for greeting and making new visitors feel comfortable. A warm welcome can be the first step in helping newcomers feel like they belong and encouraging them to return.  By ensuring that the church atmosphere is welcoming and organized, the committee helps to create a positive atmosphere for worship. The Church Hospitality Committee plays a pivotal role in nurturing the spiritual and social life of the congregation, ensuring that both visitors and members feel valued and engaged.

Greater Works Community Outreach Center

Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid.
Matthew 5: 14

Purpose Statement

The purpose of Greater Works Community Outreach Center (G.W.C.O.C) is to extend God’s love to those within the community who have the greatest need.  We will partner with other Christian ministries to share hope and provide tools for daily living.  We will evidence our faith by assisting families in achieving restored hope and self-sufficiency.  Biblical standards for Christian character and conduct will guide all our work.  We will act in close partnership with other congregations and community organizations to identify and address the unmet needs of the working poor in the surrounding communities and Ouachita Parish.  We will treat every individual with respect, compassion, and equity without consideration of their faith or beliefs.  We will engage each person with a glad heart and an attitude of hope.  We will also establish clear measures of stewardship for the resources we receive and the quality of the services we offer.

Vision

GWCOC will engage and empower families and individuals within the greater Ouachita and surrounding communities and beyond to become resilient, healthy, sustainable, and innovative.
